Queueing can be initiated from any existing drafted post or new feed post. To have the post added to the publication queue, you simply need to select the Add to Queue option after editing your existing post or setting a new one for publication.
Once your post is sent to queue, you will be directed to the dedicated Queue tab to see it in the list of your queued posts. Now, let’s move on to this tab to see what you can do on it.
How do I manage or rearrange my queue?
The Queue tab helps you organize and manage your posts you selected for queueing with several new functionalities.
- First, you can rearrange posts using arrows (up and down) located to the side of each post’s card in the queue to adjust their publishing order.
- The card for each queued post also has a sub-menu which offers options to force publish the post in the queue right away through Publish now, by editing the post if its not pending approval, remove the post from the list of your queued posts or delete it entirely.
- Queue settings allow you to set the publication frequency for your queued posts, with options ranging from one post every minute to one post every 14 days. You can also choose the order in which your posts are published, either sequentially, where posts go live in the order they appear in the queue, or randomly, where the system selects which post to publish next.
How will my queue look like once I enable it?
Once the queue is enabled after clicking on Enable queue button, you will see the time and date when your queued posts will go live if you set the publication order to sequential. In case you’ve chosen a random order, your posts will not show the publication date and time and will be randomly selected for publication at the time frequency you set your queue for.
